The 7th station Tomoe-kan (mountain lodge) is located at the 2,800 m above sea level and after 2hours walking from the 5th station. It is known as the place to see the sunrise, Goraiko. As the last lodge of the mountain lodges along the Yoshida-trail, you wake up late and can enjoy the sunrise, Goraiko at this mountain lodge. The services are lodging, rest station (pay), water, snacks, the light meals including Udon noodle and curry and rice, and branding for a pilgrim’s staff. It takes 4-5hours from this mountain lodge to the peak of the mountain on foot. Please make a reservation by phone call or Fax (the reservation form is available on the web). The 7th station Tomoe-kan has the background that it used to be Tenchikyokan-Hall at 5th station and was relocated to the current place. The lodge still enshrines Tenshouko-Daikokuten which had been being honored as a guardian god of it from the old time. In the lodge, Ita-Maneki, the wood boards written the name of visitor’s religions and faiths, and the votive tablets are displayed, which tell that this place has been related to the faith of Mt.Fuji for long time. There is another lodge at the Hon-8th station (Hon-8gome) of Tomoe-kan, so you will get a fun service if you make a reservation at either of them. You can stay, and take a rest, deposit your bag, and meet your friends at either of Tomoe-Kan. These very reassuring services are available except the time of full occupancy.

Discover
The Narusawa area’s roadside rest and shopping hub offers the visitor splendid views of Mount Fuji and much more. The shop in the main building sells freshly harvested local highland fruits and vegetables, as well as locally brewed sake and ready-to-eat condiments.
Uncover
Viewing Mount Fuji on its own is splendid enough, but it is in relation to the surrounding mountains that one can begin to comprehend the sheer scale and size of Japan’s most iconic mountain. This observation deck offers that opportunity.

The Narusawa Ice Cave was formed around 1,150 years ago. Inside, some of the tunnel sections have a ceiling just 90 centimeters high, forcing visitors to crouch or crawl through. The cave is covered in ice all year, and the temperature inside averages about 3°C.
