You can enjoy the 5 minute aerial walk on the Shosenkyo Gorge Ropeway from the ropeway gate to the Panorama-dai station at the summit. With just 30 minutes at the shortest, from going-up to going-down, its ease makes it popular among tourists. You can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Fuji and the Minami Alps Mountains from Panorama-dai, at a height of 1,058m. During the 20-minute walk from Yosaburodake to Panorama-dai, you can stop around the viewing platform with a fine view. There is a restaurant at the summit, where you rest while viewing the beautiful landscape. Popular sellers of the shops at the gate and the station are original Japanese bags made out of paper charms which bring luck in money. For about 5 minutes you will reach the Panorama-dai station at the summit of Mt. Rakanji (Yosaburodake). Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Fuji and the Minami Alps Mountains from Panorama-dai. Mt. Rakanji is a 20-minute walk from the summit.
