Narusawa Golf Club
This is a forest course on expansive, gently sloped terrain at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The course is flat overall, and is has separations consisting of Japanese red pine and silver birch groves. The fairways are wide, but there are ponds in key positions, so shots need to be hit at just the right angle. There are single greens with slightly thick bentgrass. The course is at an elevation of 1,100 m so refreshing games of golf can be enjoyed here in the summer.
No. 8 Short is an especially famous hole, which features shooting across a beautiful pond toward Mt. Fuji. For both outward and inward, there is a large pond close to the green of the final hole, and this makes for a beautiful landscape.
On this course, golfers need to be careful of the undulations of the greens and the grass grain starting at Mt. Fuji.
