Miyako Golf Club

This is a flat course with few height differences and 18 holes that have layouts making use of the slopes of the hilly areas here. It is located 60 minutes away from central Tokyo. The course is surrounded by broadleaf trees, and there is beautiful nature here, including new green leaves in the spring and autumn leaves in the fall. Golfers can spend relaxed, high-quality time at this course while enjoying the natural beauty of the season.

The clubhouse here has a hotel on its third floor, and visitors can enjoy two rounds of golf with a one-night stay as well as twilight golf, which is only possible at a golf course with accommodations. Golfers can refresh themselves after golf at this course’s jacuzzi, sauna, and waterfall shower.

At this course, there many holes where the height difference with the hole is eliminated at intervals using slopes, and one side or another is out of bounds. As such, on the tee shot, it is necessary to aim for slope on the opposite side. At holes No. 7 and No. 9, when taking a shot across the creek, it is necessary to decide between a lay-up club and a club for going for the green.

Course guide

This middle-range hole has a slight downhill lie. In April through May, it features yamazakura cherry blossoms and flowering dogwood blossoms that warm the heart.

Long hole on course that is great for driving contests. When hitting toward the green on the tee shot, the right side is out of bounds, so it is better to aim for the left side.

Long hole with significant distance to the hole. On the tee shot, it is best to aim for the left side. The green is shaped like a horse’s back, so this hole is quite difficult.
