This is hill course in an impressive natural setting that includes the towering mountains of Mt. Kaikoma and Yatsugatake. Golfers can enjoy exhilarating games on greens reputed for their excellent maintenance, combined with clean air and amazing views. The lodge-style clubhouse sells wine produced in Yamanashi Prefecture and has a corner with sake from local breweries called “Yamanashi Meijo (Famous Breweries of Yamanashi).” Local items like these make great golf-tournament prizes. This course holds an open competition each month, and the bus package from Tokyo is very popular. This is a long-established golf course that will celebrate its 41st anniversary this year.
This course is surrounded by majestic mountains, and golfers can enjoy seasonal scenery here. If you register for the course’s e-mail magazine on Line, you can receive special benefits when you visit! If playing as a family with juniors, the juniors can play free of charge! An open competition is held each month, and it can be entered on an individual basis.
The outward has plenty interesting features including pond crossings and doglegs. The inward has a lot of variation, and requires thoughtful play. The holes are designed so that beginners can enjoy beautiful scenery and advanced players can enjoy highly strategic shots taking into consideration undulations.
Golfers will be impressed by majestic Mt. Kaikoma, and the Minami Alps, regarding which registration as a world natural heritage site is being sought.
