Fuji View Hotel
Fuji View Hotel is located near Lake Kawaguchiko, offering gorgeous vistas of both Mt. Fuji and the lake from its rooms, and boasts a garden which shows off each season on its roughly 30,000 tsubo (about 100,000 m2) site. The Lake Kawaguchiko Tour Course, which is close to the hotel, is an approximately 26-km cycling course suitable for novices and up as it is fairly flat.
Lockable cycle racks prepared beside the lobby can be used to protect your bicycles. The cycle racks are available for two bicycles.
Bicycles are permitted in the 39 standard twin rooms. The dynamic mountain scenery can be enjoyed from those rooms facing Mt. Fuji, while glorious views of the seasonal garden and Lake Kawaguchiko can be enjoyed from those facing the garden. Please be sure to bring your own cycle stand if you wish to bring your bicycle into the room.
Please be sure to clean your bicycle and kit of any mud, etc. at the outdoor cleaning area before entering the hotel. There are faucets and a cleaning area that can be used free of charge beside the parking lot within the hotel site. Simple maintenance equipment, such as bicycle pumps and tools, etc. can be borrowed from the front desk.
The extensive grounds include three tennis courts and a 10-hole short golf course. Canoeing can be experienced on Lake Kawaguchiko, while other activities such as athletics can be tried at "Forest Adventure Mt. Fuji" in the middle of the vast wildness. A tour of the various sightseeing spots around Lake Kawaguchiko is also recommended.
"Shurei-no-yu" - one of five natural springs sourced from Mt. Fuji - feeds our spa. These spring waters are noted for their calcium, sodium, sulfate, and chloride mineral content, and are considered very therapeutic for aching muscles, neuralgia, and tired bodies.
French and traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine are served in the restaurants. The course including succulent Koshu beef as the main dish is especially recommended. A variety of local wines produced in Yamanashi prefecture are also available. Please check the details as the dinner courses differ depending on the accommodation plan and day of the week.
