Main content starts here.
On the Koshu Fruit Marathon course, it is possible to enjoy panoramic views of the Minami Alps mountain range from the Kofu Basin. After passing by grape fields, the course ascends Daibosatsutoge Pass where there is an elevation difference of 1,200 m. The 4th marathon was held in October 2013, and about 350 runners ran the entire course to the end at Koshuji Road.
After the starting point, a flat road continues for a while. At the beginning, avoid going too fast and try to save your energy. On the Fruit Line road, it is possible to run comfortably while taking in unobstructed views to the left. After the course turns right from the Fruit Line, a slope begins, and there is a mountain road after the steep slope up to Unpo-ji Temple. The road becomes narrow and there are many curves, so be careful of oncoming traffic while running here.
