The Yamanakako Roadrace is a marathon course around Lake Yamanakako that offers views of nearby Mt. Fuji. The course goes around Lake Yamanakako, returns to the starting point, and then goes another 4 km. After about 17 km, the course turns back toward the finish line. The 33rd race was held in May 2013, and 12,005 runners participated in either the approximately 21-km course (half marathon) or the approximately 13-km course (loop around Lake Yamanakako). About 30% of the participants in the approximately 13-km course were women. This is a course that can be enjoyed by runners of all levels from beginner to veteran.

The Minami Alps Togenkyo Marathon is a half marathon course that cuts across Minami-Alps City from north to south. While running on this course, it is possible to see distant mountain scenery and beautiful landscapes of peach and plum blossoms in the spring. One attractive feature of this course is the fact that there is a pleasant elevation difference of 168 m.

The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival Road Race is a half marathon course that runs on part of the Mt. Fuji Yoshidaguchi Climbing Trail, where there are heritage assets of World Heritage site Mt. Fuji. Its highest point is Mt. Fuji 1st Station, which has an elevation of 1,300 m. On the way up the slope, an impressive full portrait of dynamic Mt. Fuji comes into view. At the 33rd race in August 2013, there were about 6,000 participants.

On the Koshu Fruit Marathon course, it is possible to enjoy panoramic views of the Minami Alps mountain range from the Kofu Basin. After passing by grape fields, the course ascends Daibosatsutoge Pass where there is an elevation difference of 1,200 m. The 4th marathon was held in October 2013, and about 350 runners ran the entire course to the end at Koshuji Road.
